Chardonany Pipers River

The invigorating natural acidity, and poised structure define the cool climate origins of our home vineyard. Reflecting Tasmania's finesse, it presents pristine lemon and exquisite white flower underscored by subtle baking spice. The energetic palate reflects a precision of lifted acidity which flows through to a soft and lingering finish.

From the Pipers River Home Vineyard, this Chardonnay was gently pressed whole bunch. Fermented with wild yeast in a blend of new and seasoned Burgundian puncheon barrels, partial malolactic fermentation enhanced the wine's delicate acidity and balance. After fermentation, the Chardonnay matured in the same barrels for 11 months before blending.
