VINIFICATION

In a textbook La Niña season—hail in October, wet winter—the Barossa then enjoyed slightly below-average rainfall for slow ripening. Fruit from 50-year-old bush vines at Watunga was handpicked, fermented with 30% whole bunch, and aged in one-third new puncheons for 12 months.

AROMA & PALATE

Classic red-fruited Grenache: cherry, raspberry, cranberry on the nose; violet and rhubarb on the palate. Plush texture with fine tannins, finishing clean and bright.
