    The Iberico pigs are allowed to roam free Spain’s southern forests, which are an ecological paradise, full of oak and cork trees where they feed exclusively on the acorns and natural aromatic plants. This exceptional diet provides the unmistakable nutty flavour, The intra-muscular fat present in the 5J ham is very rich in oleic acid, similar to that found in olive oil, whose consumption is frequently recommended for its beneficial effects and is directly linked to the natural feeding habits.
