Wombat Creek Pinot Noir

Finesse, depth and concentration. Aromas of red cherry and raspberry, rose water and crushed herbs. On the palate fresh acidity compliments red fruits, tea leaf and savoury whole bunch characters. Velvety integrated tannins complete this wine’s structure and persistence.

Hand harvested from old vine MV6 in the Upper Yarra. The fruit is chilled, hand sorted and destemmed with a considered inclusion of whole bunches. A cold soak is followed by fermentation in open top stainless-steel fermenters with daily hand plunging and pump overs. Matured for 10 months in French oak.
