Description
Highbow Hill Vineyard,Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia.
Located near Dixon’s Creek in the Yarra Valley, Highbow Hill invites consumers into a clear understanding of what the Yarra Valley floor has to offer. The vineyard blocks are
nestled amongst the hill offering a variation in vineyard aspect and micro-climate to provide diversity and complexity in the fruit that is grown there. Grown on sandy loam over clay, there is concentration and plushness in the fruit.
This is a light and spicy Pinot that's showing some bottle age while retaining elegance. Aromas of cherry lozenge and flower stem have a herbal, slightly mealy underbelly. The palate is light weight and gently fruity, sculpted with fine, distinctively textured tannins. Drink up. — Christina Pickard
