Mornington Peninsula is regarded as the home of Pinot Gris in Australia, and our example from Mingary reflects the tranquil and beautiful site nestled on deep volcanic loams.
The Mingrarry Pinot Gris is bright, precise and pure – mirroring the poise and tranquillity of its birthplace. Fermented in large 1,000L Austrian oak vat, aroma’s of jasmine, green pear and sweet Viennoiserie pastry on the nose are complemented by a concentrated core of lime juice, white nectarine and pear juice, with a fine nerve of acid and phenolics providing lazer like focus.
