REGION

Auburn Road Vineyard, a patch of untamed paradise on the west side of the Tamar River in Tasmania’s north, is a cool site planted on north-facing slopes that spill into a spring-fed lake surrounded by native forest.
NASAA Organic Certified site since November 2022.

CRAFTING & AGEING

Crafted with meticulous care, this wine begins with overnight chilling of the grapes before destemming and fermentation in open fermenters barriques, featuring 40% new oak from Burgundian coopers.

A five-day cold soak extracts optimal flavour, followed by 14 days on skins for complexity. After pressing off and a brief settling, the wine ages for 10 months in French oak.
