VINIFICATION

Record spring rains delayed flowering and ripening during a La Niña year. Fruit from Wombat Creek and Highbow Hill was hand-picked, gently fermented after cold soak, then aged 11 months in French oak puncheons.

AROMA & PALATE

Wild strawberry and mixed cherries on the nose, with anise and cinnamon. The palate reflects the parentage of each of the sites- weight, texture and black fruits from our Highbow Hill site, and juicey layers of fruit paired with a discrete acid and fine boned structure from the Wombat Creek portion.
